As a good Norman, I love Camembert. In summer, I like to roast it in the oven while we're eating. As soon as it comes out of the coals, I drizzle it with cider jelly and it's ecstasy. But there's no question of waiting for barbecue season! In winter, I roast it in the oven.

Preparation

Preheat oven to 190-200°C fan oven. Remove the paper from the cheese (be careful not to forget the label) and return it to its box. Using a knife, make a grid on the top and prick the Camembert with rosemary sprigs if you wish. Line the base of the tin with baking paper (in case of overflow) and place in the middle of the oven for around ten minutes, or longer if necessary. Serve immediately with cider jelly and pieces of bread. For the barbecue version, wrap the tin in aluminum foil and allow 15-20 minutes in the coals, why not take the opportunity to toast some bread? Even more delicious: serve with slices of toasted bread rubbed with garlic.
