At Maison PERROTTE, the taste of fruit comes from a love of the land
At Maison PERROTTE, chef Stéphan Perrotte, Master Craftsman and World Champion Jam Maker, cultivates a strong commitment to promoting French know-how through exceptional fruit.
We have made the conscious choice to favor French, local and seasonal sourcing, in direct partnership with passionate producers, whom we honor with every jar.
We are proud to have been the first artisanal jam makers to include a transparent label on each of the top-of-the-range recipes in our collection:
- choice of fruit variety
- producer's name
- its cultivation method
- and the precise place of production
It's our way of honoring their work and offering our customers a product that's traceable, sincere and meaningful.

Our approach doesn't stop with the fruit. 100% of our purchases - ingredients, packaging, labels, glassware - are made in France or via French suppliers.
Our suppliers are also trusted local craftsmen and companies:
- Beaucouzé spindle for sugar,
- Pyramidor and Huteau in Brissac-Quincé for packaging,
- Favry Emballage in Saint-Barthélemy-d'Anjou for our customer bags,
- Verreries Perrin in Kilstett for our pots and capsules...
A strong commitment, a sustainable model
Making this choice means proving that a responsible, local and high-quality model is possible.
It also means guaranteeing a profound respect for the fruit, the land and those who grow it. At Maison PERROTTE, we believe that traceability is an asset, and that it contributes to restoring the prestige of artisanal French jams.
And what about other products?
For some of the products in our range, we work not just with a single identified producer, but with a group of producers.
What is a producer group?
A producer group is a collective organization, often in the form of a cooperative or association, which brings together several local farmers or suppliers.
Together, they pool their means of production, harvests and logistics to guarantee :
- A regular supplyeven in the event of climatic or seasonal contingencies;
- Improved product quality, based on shared, supervised practices;
- Controlled traceability thanks to rigorous organization;
- Support for local agriculture, enabling smaller farms to make a living from their work.
Why make this choice?
This mode of supply allows us to :
- Offer a wider variety of products,
- Maintain high quality standards,
- And promote a sustainable and equitable agricultural model.
A local, sustainable and responsible model
At Maison PERROTTE, we believe it's possible to reconcile excellence in taste, responsibility and local roots.
Our aim? To restore French artisanal jam to its former glory, while respecting the fruit, the land and the men and women who grow it.
