- 1 puff pastry
- 4 tablespoons quetsche d'Anjou jam
- 50 g almond powder
- 30 g sugar
- 20 g melted butter
- 1 egg yolk (for gilding)
- A few slivered almonds or cashews
- A few quesche (optional)

Preparation
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Cut the puff pastry into 4 circles and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Mix the almond powder, sugar and melted butter to make a small almond cream.
- Spread a thin layer of jam on each pastry circle, then add a spoonful of almond cream on top.
- Add pieces of quetsche, cut into thin slices.
- Lightly fold the edges of the pastry inwards, brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with flaked almonds.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden and puffed up.
Tip: Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a little whipped cream for an even more indulgent dessert.
