Nutellotti are an Italian specialty. As you've probably guessed, the name nutellotti comes from nutella® and biscotti, Italian for cookie. Of course, we'll be using a homemade spread.
These cookies are made from three ingredients: spread, eggs and flour.
Ingredients
(20 nutelloti)
- 180 g spread
- 150 g flour
- 1 egg
- 3 teaspoons neutral oil (e.g. grape seed)
- QS Milk Jam
Preparation
In the bowl of a food processor, whisk together the spread and egg.
Add the flour in 2 additions, then the oil.
The resulting dough may be rather crumbly. Form into a ball and chill for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees
Make balls of about 20 g and space them out on silpat or baking paper.
Using a cork, lightly hollow out the center, taking care not to pierce the bottom.
Bake for 8/10 min.
Fill the cavity with milk jam or spread.
